Flare Knockouts

A Flare Knock Out Drum (FKOD) is installed upstream of aflare stackto prevent liquids from entering the stack and causing unacceptable smoke emissions. It is an essential piece of safety equipment in both emergency and maintenance flaring systems. This is required for both temporary and permanent flare systems, including well testing and pipeline maintenance.
